I just listened to Danny Williams and Ed Martin (CEO HYDRO) on an Atlantic Transmission Route.
Martin says cost is a critical piece - of the choice of transmission - what it the cost of transmitting it to industry in Labrador instead?
Now New Brunswick wants a chunk of power - while the Premier explains that Ontario remains the primary potential customer.
It just amazes me that without proof or a single challenge - media continues to buy the line that the power must be exported.
What evidence does the media have to show - such as rejection letters from industry saying we have no interest in establishing in Labrador?
What is the cost of power we could offer industry if we did not have the transmission costs through Quebec or the Atlantic route?
I know the Opposition will not ask the questions - they didn't when they were in government.
No vision Williams - the biggest giveaway ever.

Do you have any suggestions about industry for Labrador?
It's pretty easy to criticize, but you don't seem to have a better idea.
Yes - aluminum - copper - uranium - nickel - cobalt - iron ore - petrochemical - processing - pulp and paper - other spin-off industries to the primary suppliers.
