Collins shows loss of Premier in vain for PC's

Newfoundland and Labrador has many serious issues on the table. Not the least of which are the Muskrat Falls legacy of economic horror, health care, the Auditor General's findings, chronic unemployment and continued secrecy in government. The governing PC's have a few serious issues of their own.

One would think that the loss of a Premier - due to crashing polls, a complete disconnect with what the people of the province want, and a number of people dead during the blackout - would wake-up the skeleton left behind. Unfortunately - it's business as usual for this arrogant crew of partisans.

Sandy Collins at the height of this mess - decides - it's business as usual for him. What device was Sandy using to tweet? Who pays for the device?  Who employs Sandy? Who pays his salary and benefits? He is a wannabe farceur - who confuses the role of his office with his amateur hobby.

He demonstrates this government's trademark arrogance and embraces the opportunity to verbally abuse ordinary citizens. His level of immaturity is obvious when one considers what he chooses to spend time on.

Your Premier just resigned - your party is in the tank - and Newfoundlanders and Labradorians do not want your government anymore. Playing twitter tag may be amusing to you but perhaps you should try marbles instead.

Collins has not learned a thing from the past month or so and clearly he plans to carry on - business as usual. No doubt that will land him a plum Cabinet post.

First demonstration:

It all started when Brad Cabana and Sandy Collins were having a few twitter jabs.

  1. I notice Kathy didn't give Sandi a hug or kiss as she left..

  2. Bradley! It's you! Have you heard the news?...there's a leadership race coming up? You in?

  3. No b'y, I left the sinking ship remember?

  4. You left?....or you were ignored to the point where it was just kinda...how do I say...awkward?

  5.   what an interesting yet commonly arrogant response. Business as usual.

    1. You mean you cheated so publicly that the country laughed out loud, and it was...awkward

    2.   Ahhhh...yeah...this feels awkward again Bradley.

    3. Ya, akward to break the rules to get the woman in,and then akward to stab her in the back to get out

    4.   listen I wanna make it up to you....i'll pay the $5k or whatever it is and you run this time 'round k?

    5. hI'll pay 5000 for you to stop using"k" like a child on a playground. grow up

      1. Interesting offer MT@SandyRCollins: listen I wanna make it up to you....i'll pay the $5k or whatever it is and you run this time

      2. Peter, if he accepts I may have to ask you to spot me $5k...that cool?

      3. not all of us make parliamentary secretary money!

      4. True, I hear though one of those positions just opened up:) Want me to drop your name?

      5.  you.

        1. 9h
How Sue Kelland-Dyer-ish of you to be trolling. Are you ever NOT on Twitter?

Now that we have a new acting Premier, I don't want to wait for the Opposition to repeal Bill 29, I want it done pronto. So Please please Mr. Marshall repeal Bill 29 and any other law that is serving to cover up the corruption governing the Muskrat Falls Contract.

The 1 per cent clique of Politicos from both sides of Government, Federal and Provincial and Corporation Heads who dreamt up this Muskrat Falls scheme need to be exposed AND believe me they have to be exposed right away.

They are no different than the 1 per cent who operate in every jurisdiction of the Western World economies, whose laws, methods of governance and business sense have all but eliminated the Middle Class in every area from North and South America to the European Union.

We have to join hands with the "Idle No More" Movement and stop this atrocity of starving everyone out of existence. The only ones who will survive this game will be the 1 per cent who own most of the wealth of the world and who are well on their way to governing the World with the 1 per cent creed in mind.

Given the way everything is percolating at the moment and has been for the past 40 years, we are well on our way to a Third World War if this malaise, that has been brought on by the Government rulers and Corporation Heads, is not immediately stopped in its tracks .

I went to high school with sandy Collins.. Unfortunately I'd expect nothing less... He was the same then... A Bully, and fun maker, who picked on and made fun of the few that were not so fortunate in our class, school. I did not vote for him, don't know how anyone who knew anything about him could. Got in by his pants seat on the popularity of Mr. Oram and the Williams government.

It's Sandy Collins... This is all he has. he can't accomplish anything relevant so he tries to bully. and the worst part is he's trying to bully people who really don't care. Which again shows his iq is probably hovering around Room Temperature.

Sandy Collins behaviour reminds of someone else. Any guesses?

It perplexes me to think that those who see themselves capable and befitting to offer themselves up to the electorate for such an honorable and responsible position as MHA, would then turn around and spit in the faces of those who elected them when they, the electorate, determined that matters ere not kosher.

When the electorate learned of and spoke up about the inherent risks of the Muskrat Falls Contract; and Bill 29 which was enacted to make matters obscure to the electorate, the MHAs defended their government against their electorate who wanted to straighten things out.

Don't they know for the sake of honesty and transparency to their subjects the only right thing for them to do is to tell the truth and not to stand up in front of the public to skew matters. The electorate expects their MHASs or MPs to do the utmost for them at all times in an honest manner. We have very rarely experienced that from the politicians we have elected from Newfoundland and Labrador, most of them fall prey to those above them.

From here on we want not one iota of lies from our MHAs and MPs, we want to be governed honestly and transparently. You,MHAs and MPs, have turned off completely the 99 per cent who are not benefiting from your lies, while the 1 per cent are living in Bliss.

Why do you choose to go against your Electorate? Is it to promote your own influence in your government and thus your own economy for eternity?
