Let's talk about our electoral system - do you think it represents you?
Let's talk about "innovative" polling - particularly during election campaigns.
Let's talk about intimidation during elections. Call with your stories!
How about the rights enjoyed by Len Simms and Ross Reid - what about all other "public" servants?
First past the post system - is it our best choice?
What do you think about proportional representation?
Do you think a Minister like Kevin O'Brien can deal with this type of debate and policy debate instead of painstakingly explaining how we now change our clocks at two in the morning?
Do you believe a referendum should be held on electoral reform?
"Talk with Sue" Sunday night and 8pm

This show is a real peoples program - where politicians do not rule - you do.
When listening to the radio, watching television or reading the newspapers about events in this province, there seems to be a missing link. One that bridges all that information together and provides a way for people to contribute, express or lobby their concerns in their own time. After-all, this is our home and everyone cannot fit in Lukie's boat and paddle their way to Upper Canada, nor should we!

Sue, there is never going to be any change in this process unless we demand it and let politicians know we mean it. The PC's have taken patronage to new highs and these kinds of appointments will likely become more entrenched with their renewed "coronation" on October 11, 2011.
Their immediate disappearing act inside that Confederation Hill fortress demonstrates their propensity toward dictatorial rule. Their smug assumption that all is well because slightly more than 3 out of 10 voters supported them will enforce their bunker mentality.
I think this sort of corrupt activity is what has destroyed NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR's God Given Right to have become the province with the number one economy in the whole of Canada, given the rich lode of natural resources that Nature endowed our province with.
This sort of activity within government only serves to manufacture obedient little men and women, who would otherwise blackmail the governmet if they weren't given what they wanted.
This sort of activity has to be made redundant through legislation within government.
Not only did Newfoundlanders and Labradorins' lose their right to have had the most prestigious economy in Canada, but as a result of having no economy because of the give away of their resources, all Newfoundlanders and Labadorians were reduced to the lowest common denominator by their peers in the rest of Canada. The ones who were enjoying the fruits of our natural resoures but callled us everything derogatory under the Sun because they thought we were leeching off them. They had no idea where their raw materials were coming from that give them the Wonderful Pom Pom economics. They thought Santa Claus brought those resources to them.
And Sue what do you thnk of Mother Ottawa not apprising Canadians of what the province of Newfoundland and Labrador was contributing to Canada, and allowing Canadians to bastardize our people they way they did over the past 62 years.
Non-transparent governance is the biggest form of corruption.
