Political Patronage Persona(fied) cont...

More to follow...

After I do a transcript of the Premier's comments on the fibre optic deal - I will post a commentary on Danny's take on the fibre optical illusion.

I can say - it's hard to know if the Premier exempted himself or was in the middle of it all - considering his inconsistencies between the CBC and NTV interviews.

Then there's the statement about all companies that could do the deal were in the deal - except for other ones that could - but they were asked. Who asked these other companies? Dean? Did Dean then tell Danny?

Cochrane says the Cabinet rejected it twice - but the Premier begs to differ - he takes credit for that - just after saying he was not involved.

Then the Premier tries to compare Deano and Kenny to Craig Dobbin and Harry Steele? Huh?

Absolute patronage - no Danny it's not illegal - unless there is something else we do not know - but it is disgusting and does not represent a fair and competitive process.

Does Dean have stock in Rogers? Rogers is traded publically - did the value of the stock go up? Did Dean buy additional stock?

The late Craig Dobbin - Harry Steele have not been your business partners - and they were not a part of this deal. What's your next acquisition Danny?

The Premier said he does not take a salary. He does! What he does with it we do not know. Pre-tax, post-tax all or part - tax write-downs...We pay your salary Premier.

The Premier says he's given the best years of his life to politics??? The last 4 ???

Best I can tell - the problem with scrolling on my blog has to do with the browser. If you use firefox instead of MSN you will see the full post.

Hi Sue

I have had the same problem. I played around with it awhile and came up with a way around it by going into View on the Toolbar and clicking on Text Size, then I select Smallest. Then I have access to more pages.
