Dear Premier Williams,
Now that the Auditor General has provided information respecting a constituency allowance over-payment to Ed Byrne MHA for the years 03 and 04 has the Department of Finance, Internal Economy Commission, and/or any Department or authority of government asked for immediate repayment of amounts over and above the legislatively approved amounts?
If so, when did this occur and if not when will it be requested?
Best Regards,

Best Regards,
The reason for this request is simple. If this were an overpayment to a social assistance recipient, an EI recipient, and/or an overpayment of a tax credit or rebate, the associated authority would seek immediate repayment. It would not matter who was responsible for or how the over-payment occured. Those are separate issues from the matter of over-payment.
