Dear Minister Hearn,
I thought if I addressed you in French you may convince your collegues to hold their Cabinet meetings in Newfoundland. The fishery and our communities are dying.
Loyola please live up to your commitments. Please do the things you believed in prior to being taken over by your Chief of Staff. Who is this guy anyway? Where did he come from?
Questions for our Minister:
1. Croyez-vous en la direction de garde des Grand Banks et en la Flemish Cap ?
1. Do you believe in custodial management of the Grand Banks and Flemish Cap?
2. Convaincrez-vous Harper de Premier Ministre qu'uTerre-Neuve et Labrador sont une vraie Province de Canada et nous aimerions qu'un Cabinet rencontrant ici ?
2. Will you convince Prime Minister Harper that Newfoundland and Labrador is a real Province of Canada and we would like a Cabinet meeting here?
3. Livrerez-vous aux ouvriers de pêcheurs et fishplant dans uTerre-Neuve et Labrador programmes de stabilisation de revenu pareils lequel a été livré aux fermiers par Ministre Chuck Strahl?
3. Will you deliver to fishermen and fishplant workers in Newfoundland and Labrador the same income stabilization programs which have been delivered to farmers by Minister Chuck Strahl?
4. Poursuivrez-vous la compensation financière du Gouvernement de Canada pour la mauvaise gestion brute de la pêche ?
4.Will you pursue financial compensation from the Government of Canada for gross mismanagement of the fishery?
5. Prendrez-vous la question d'observateur de moisson de cachet de harpe permet complètement au Cour de cassation de Canada pour déterminer les droits de nos pêcheurs pour travailler dans un environnement sûr ?
5. Will you take the matter of harp seal harvest observer permits all the way to the Supreme Court of Canada to determine the rights of our fishermen to work in a safe environment?
Do you realize Mr. Hearn that rural Newfoundland and Labrador and her people are suffering? Do you realize that rural Newfoundland and Labrador is losing thousands of people through outmigration while you sip Champagne in Quebec?
Why are you so weak in your convictions respecting your home and her people?
How is it acceptable to you that Harper basically lives in Quebec and is ignoring Newfoundland and Labrador?
Do you know how we feel and I'm sure you do, at the obvious political grand-standing of your leader in Quebec and Ontario while our seven seats go unnoticed?
Thanks Loyola, you're a real champion of the people. That's right you champion whatever Stephen wants you to champion while you fail the people who will provide your two or three pensions.
