The Low Blue Hills of Home - keeps me fighting for Newfoundland and Labrador

In 1961 - the year I was born - my grandfather Otto Kelland released his album - The Anchor Watch.

Naturally - Let me Fish off Cape St. Mary's was on it - but so was my favorite song.

My son found a YouTube audio of "The Low Blue Hills of Home" performed by Leonard Meehan.

This is the song I enjoyed most as a little girl and even today. It keeps me fighting for Newfoundland and Labrador.

I miss grandfather and the wonderful man he was. Thinking of him today.
