Wanted - Leader for any Political Party - Muskrat Fiasco

Muskrat Falls - this great big volleyball - flying over a net - bouncing here and there - is the most scary deal ever put forth in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Newfoundland and Labrador NDP - does not support Muskrat Falls/Emera deal - claim they do not have enough information. National NDP supports loan guarantee for a project that has not yet been endorsed by the local NDP. That is arrogant and does not bode well for the voices of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Newfoundland and Labrador Liberals - Leader does not support the Muskrat Falls/Emera deal - while "Liberal" rebuilding chief Dean MacDonald does support the deal. That bodes well for the voices of Newfoundland and Labrador people.

Newfoundland and Labrador PC's support the Muskrat Falls/Emera deal - while significant and longstanding members of the provincial Tories are opposed vehemently to the project. Premier supports "Liberals" who support Muskrat Falls/Emera while opposing the same "Liberals" who find that she is not doing a good job related to selling the project.

What is a person to do in Newfoundland and Labrador - is there anybody to vote for?

Oh yes - I almost forgot - I am Partisan - I support Newfoundland and Labrador. How about you?

By the Company he Keeps - Williams - back on Safe and Familiar ground!

Story out of NB Business Journal today

SAINT JOHN - It may have been one of the worst-kept secrets in New Brunswick, but the rumours are true: Donald Trump is coming to the Port City.

The American business magnate and billionaire television personality will headline a special event this fall organized by the same young businessman who brought Richard Branson to Moncton last year.

Former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani and former Newfoundland premier Danny Williams will also speak at Spark, a motivational event to be held at Harbour Station on Oct. 6.

... Williams, who ended a seven-year run as Newfoundland's premier in December as one of the most popular Canadian politicians, will add the Atlantic Canadian flare to the event, LeBlanc said.
Williams is also a wealthy business titan who has developed one of the largest communications companies in Atlantic Canada.

The article continues....

But will he be back to Newfoundland and Labrador to prevent the Dunderdale sellout to Harper? Will he open his mouth as a passionate Newfoundlander and Labradorian or will he - as he accused Harper of being - turn out to be a political fraud?

Will he show up in New Brunswick and speak of the wonderful Emera deal and how "great" it is for Nova Scotia and New Brunswick? It certainly is not good for us.

Will he watch his PC's fall in disgrace - come October?
