Go to 7:03 of the recording and watch the Minister of Finance - Jerome Kennedy - congratulate the accomplishments of a sexual predator.
All MHA's should advise if they celebrated with the Minister knowing that Mark Yetman was a convicted sexual offender.
How is this permitted to stand in the Hansard of the People's House of Assembly.
An apology is owed to the women who were victims of Mark Yetman.
If any MHA was not aware of this circumstance prior to congratulating the sexual predator - are you willing to ask for a statement in the House apologizing to the women.
Further can legislation be tabled that would prevent violent sex offenders from playing on provincial teams while on bail - awaiting for sentencing.
There is no pride here for the Coach and administration of the team - they welcomed in a sexual predator.
He (Yetman) is not an example for young men and women - children - He is a disgrace.
This is not acceptable.
Where is the conscience of men and women serving the people in political office? These people are supposed to be our leaders.
Shame!
As for Minister Kennedy - the quote that most suits him is:
"He is simply a shiver looking for a spine to run up." Paul Keating former PM Australia
When listening to the radio, watching television or reading the newspapers about events in this province, there seems to be a missing link. One that bridges all that information together and provides a way for people to contribute, express or lobby their concerns in their own time. After-all, this is our home and everyone cannot fit in Lukie's boat and paddle their way to Upper Canada, nor should we!

I do not like Green Eggs and Kale - I do not like them Dunderdale
With apologies to Dr. Seuss
With grave concern for the future of our place.
So which is it Premier Dunderdale? Stop or Go?
The Tories - under the leadership of Kathy Dunderdale - are likewise swimming in circles like a goldfish on its last fins.
Which way Premier - they must ask - this way or that?
What to do Premier - they must ask - stop or go?
What to say Premier - they must ask - we agree or disagree?
Do we like Green Eggs and Kale ?
Do we like them Dunderdale?
Do we like them with a Tweet - do we like them extra sweet?
I do not like Green Eggs and Kale - for I am the floundering Dunderdale.
Do we like them in the House?
Do we like them with a Mouse?
Do we like them from a Can?
We must ask the Ross Wiseman.
Do we like them with Facebook?
Do we like them down the Lane?
Do we like them with a Kent?
Do we like them with Gin and Collins?
I do not like Green Eggs and Kale - for I am the floundering Dunderdale.
Not in a dory! Not on the dock!
Not on Facebook! Dunderdale! Let me be!
I would not, could not, in a tweet.
I could not, would not, with a skeet.
I will not eat them with a Kent.
I will not eat them down a Lane.
I will not eat them here or there.
I will not eat them anywhere.
I do not like them, Dunderdale-I-am.
BUT WAIT
WE do so like
Green Eggs and Kale!
Thank you!
Thank you,
Dunderdale.
Now as fickle as this may seem - after listening to the Premier and her legion of speakers - regarding Twittergate - nothing can be taken seriously.
That is the most serious problem we have. Just stop and think a minute - these are the people responsible for the Muskrat Falls deal.
With grave concern for the future of our place.

Dunerdale's Empty Chair on Muskrat Falls
Sometimes it is very helpful to look outside our little world and listen to what others are saying - what others are experiencing - what others are frustrated by - and by what others think.
You can only take so much of the drone from Steve Kent or Paul Lane without feeling totally underrepresented or pessimistic about our future.
You can only watch so much pocket filling and conflicts of interest before you really and truly believe we no longer live in an active, healthy, and vibrant democracy.
I listened to Bill Clinton's address to the Democratic National Convention last night and was just a little uplifted by the performance.
There is no doubt Clinton is a tremendous speaker and that bodes well when the one listening (me) has been suffering through the incompetence of our leaders here at home.
I really recommend that anybody who has the time - take that time and have a listen.
Very beneficially for the Democrats in the USA - Clinton was their response to the fiasco of a performance by Clint Eastwood at the Republican Convention just days earlier.
Unfortunately for us Eastwood's dialogue with an empty chair was like watching Dunderdale and company on a perpetual loop.
One of the biggest challenges we face in this province was articulated by Clinton last night during his speech. Clinton said of the President, "President Obama's whole record on national security is a tribute to his preference for inclusion and partnership over partisanship".
What Clinton orated is what we are desperately missing. The Dunderdale administration and the William's one before it was built on partisanship to the point of tribalism versus inclusion and partnership.
There is only one way on Muskrat Falls - and everybody else will be marginalized - not included in the public debate or policy choices. This WILL be the worst project in our history if permitted to proceed. Right now - like it or not - the Liberals and the NDP coupled with a "fact checking" media must find a way to include the voices of our people.
The Liberals MUST take a position on Muskrat Falls and fight for the voices of our people - not try to jump hoops so that Dean MacDonald can hijack or stifle the parties policy directives and debate - in order that they might hold MacDonald's "interest" in leadership. Right now the future of our children and grandchildren must trump the Official Opposition's desire to take power back.
The New Democrats must likewise take a position and not be usurped by their federal colleagues and in one case an ex-associate of Danny Williams.
Now is the time to look outside ourselves and self-interest and take a stand for democracy and for our future.
Once again I call on the government to release all polling that has been done on the Muskrat Falls proposed development between Nalcor and Emera.
