So now that Harper has to appoint two new judges to the Supreme Court of Canada - will he finally pick a Newfoundland and Labrador jurist to fill one of the posts?
The appointments are said to be imminent.
So if Harper chooses one of ours for the first time since Confederation - will Kennedy then fill a bench seat in Newfoundland and Labrador?
He just has not been his same snide sarcastic self lately. Less fighting - less talking - less Jerome the past three weeks. Is he becoming stately?
Dunderdale and Harper could say that this is another great moment of reconciliation.
Let's see - shall we?
When listening to the radio, watching television or reading the newspapers about events in this province, there seems to be a missing link. One that bridges all that information together and provides a way for people to contribute, express or lobby their concerns in their own time. After-all, this is our home and everyone cannot fit in Lukie's boat and paddle their way to Upper Canada, nor should we!
