PC Leaders in wait?

This is the shortest post I will probably ever write.

A leader does not wait to see who's in the race before they enter it.

Next up - the words to watch from Bill Barry. There were some real indicators from Barry when interviewed by David Cochrane last week.

Sue, the people are speaking, at last! We are knocking them off as soon as they rise their heads to offer themselves as premier. And there is no one presently who has risen his head, but not knocked off who is acceptable by me.

Let's hope the electorate are more attentive from here on because the type of governance that we have experienced here over the past 550 years and especially the past 65 years, being supposedly under a Democracy has been nothing short of corrupt.

I learned this morning through CBC Radio that the province of Newfoundland and Labrador is due to lose another 40 thousand people over the next 20 years, the News is dire. Who is going to be there to look after our affairs with tax dollars? But, how can we expect anything different when we give away our natural resources for others to prosper? And to think we just turned over the fishery, hook line and sinker, to Ottawa by giving away the last piece of influence we had over it, the Minimum Processing Requirements (MPRs) to satisfy Ottawa's and the EU's desire for a better economy make me sick. What kind of governor or premier would do such a dastardly thing to his/her electorate and province? Of course, it is one who doesn't care about who elected him/her, they do it with themselves and their own personal economy in mind and nothing else.

We also know that there has to be a willing partner outside of the province to accept the natural resource that they are developing for their legacy and Ottawa is at the end of that line at all times.

Yes, Our governance down through the years had been nothing but a Bag of Corruption! Sorry I have to be terse here and say it like it was because I know it to be no different.

I would love to see a new person come forward whose hands are clean, even if that person lives here but is from some other part of the World, we need somebody who is not going to be affected by the corruption that is swirling around us in government, from both levels.
