Back in the Upper Churchill days we did not have all this social media. Now we do.
For the record - if you are going to vote Tory and support Muskrat Falls - leave your real name in the comment area - as well as your email address.
That way when the children ask who did this - they can be pointed in the right direction.
If you are that sure that Muskrat is a good deal - sign on.
Also if you believe that 2041 is the end of dealing with Quebec - sign your name for that.
If you are a Tory candidate - no need to sign - we have a record of you running.

think to the future instead of your own pocket. This deal will ensure prosperity after the oil! We need this deal to bypass Quebec. Think about Nl's future, not yourself!!!
here we go again - no name attached. Sign your name to it. We are not bypassing Quebec both Martin and Dunderdale still fighting to go through Quebec for Gull Island. The proposed line will not take Gull power. Sign your name.
I hope I live to see the hydro lines to Quebec finally cut! This hydro project will make that possible. That is well worth a higher light bill to leave something for our kids!
did not sign your name. folly and untrue regarding quebec - listen to your own Kathy and Ed - they will tell you the difference. sign your name
Thank you Ed for signing your name to the deal. Your commentary does not demonstrate knowledge of the deal but it sure demonstrates intolerance toward others.
Perhaps you would like to expound on "you are full of shit". Nevertheless you did sign your name.
By the way Ed you should have left an email to confirm you are you.
Sue, I believe you are the Gerald Celente of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Nobody pays attention now, but in the future, they will say she was right.
I hope people pay attention now and stop the predictable. I really don't matter much - nor do the politicians other than the value of speaking what is real.
The voters choose today and they will impact the lives of their children and grandchildren.
The current political system in Newfoundland and Labrador is full of partisan zealotry. In every part of global history this has destroyed not enhanced democracy or any system.
We are now openly supporting the notion that every member must be a government member. What does this leave?
Sue I am against the Muskrat Falls Project being developed at this point in time, for the following reasons: we are giving 20.6% of the Energy from the Project to Emera for $1.2 Billion dollars for 35 years with no escalator clause, that is a much lower kilowatt hour cost than what Newfoundlanders and Labradorians will be paying in their electric bill, we have no market for the excess energy above what our province will need to eliminate the Holyrood Oil fired Generators, the Energy Bills of Newfoundlanders and Labradorians could escalate upwards of 100% over the next few short years.
I also believe the Muskrat Falls Project should be developed, only when the other components of the Lower Churchill are ready to be developed, and only at a time when the need for extra hydro energy to develop industry in our province presents itself.
And the Lower Churchill Project if developed, as a whole, should be be a less costly affair.
So, Sue, did Mr. Ed actually verify his name.
A further thought, Sue! We should start an organized campaign to get 100,000 names on a petition. Most everybody I have spoken to, is against this project.
I am not overly teckie myself but what about some soret of online campaign? If too expensive, then an old-fashioned paper petition.
We need a properly-worded petition to presesent to the House when it DOES reopen.
