When listening to the radio, watching television or reading the newspapers about events in this province, there seems to be a missing link. One that bridges all that information together and provides a way for people to contribute, express or lobby their concerns in their own time. After-all, this is our home and everyone cannot fit in Lukie's boat and paddle their way to Upper Canada, nor should we!
Show me how we are going to need the increase in power projected for the Island.
Show me.
By all means - all PC supporters welcomed to explain - especially MHA's.

Sue this is about saving the economic skins of two of the Maritime Provinces, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. If both of these Maritime provinces were not in the desperate need they are in for energy and industry, Ottawa would not be on side for this project.
The only Newfoundlanders and Labradorians that will benefit from this Project are the orchestrators of the Project, who , I assume, are the ex-politicians who were hot on the trot to get it going for years.
The stars are not aligned, at the moment, for our province to benefit from this project and the electorate of Newfoundland and Labrador will be the ones who will be saddled with paying off the mortgage on the project.
This Project has to be stopped until the time is ripe. We have been saddled with debt because our natural resources have been stolen and given away to the other provinces for the benefit of creating vibrant economies over the past 62 year duration that we have been part of Canada.
Now that our debt is at a decent level, we should not be re-saddled again with the debt of another Hydro Project that won't benefit our province.
