Wow! At last!

Memorial University is one of the reasons the province of Newfoundland and Labrador has languished economically for so long.

Unlike other Canadian Universities the students were not encouraged to protest or have their voices heard. I am wondering was that a request by Ottawa to MUN so that it could lure our raw natural resources away so that other provinces of Canada could prosper. It also made it easier on the 7 Newfoundland and Labrador Federal Politicians in the Canadian Parliament. We have all watched over the past as they voted for what was in the best interest of the rest of Canada over their own province and their electorate who hired them to look after their affairs, and we have also watched as Memorial University stayed silent. One would have thought if MUN is as good a Univesity as it professes to be that it would have taken the responsibility of apprising not only Newfoundlanders and Labradorians that they were being shafted but MUN should have sent a message to Ottawa that it should be treating the province of Newfoundland and Labrador with equality, no different than it was treating the other 9 provinces.

MUN should become vociferious and join hands with other Newfoundlanders and Labradorians to demand a fair deal for our province. We need to be brought up to par with the other provinces. No other province has given up it raw resources like the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, albeit it was done without the knowledge of most Newfoundlanders and
