An Olive Branch to Quebec???

Most media have focused on the Provincial Government Announcement that a Quebec construction firm has been awarded the contract to build a new long-term care facility in Corner Brook. Already - as the local news has reported - there are cries of foul from local bidders.

I like to go a step further to see if there are other connections we should be aware of. So I did a little checking on the successful bidder - Pomerleau Inc. of St. George's Quebec.

Notwithstanding the unacceptable position that a Quebec company is building our facility - these guys are into other projects as well. They appear to be real proud of achievements in another sector - ENERGY.

PROJECTS

Infrastructure Civil - Energy
LG-1 Hydroelectric Generating Station, James Bay, QC

Infrastructure Civil - Energy
Hydro-Québec Bersimis 1 Control House/Hydroelectric Generating Station, Forestville, QC

Infrastructure Civil - Energy
Hydro-Quebec La Tuque Power Generating Station and Adjacent Tunnels, La Tuque, QC

Infrastructure Civil - Energy
Hydro-Quebec, Appalaches Power Substation, Thetford Mines, QC

Infrastructure Civil - Energy
Hydro-Quebec, Head Race Tunnel and Channel Head Sainte-Marguerite 3 (SM3), Sept-Iles, QC

Infrastructure Civil - Energy
Hydro-Québec Tracy Thermal Power Station (Workshop and Stores), QC

Infrastructure Civil - Energy
Hydro-Québec, Grand-Mère Power Generating Station, Grand-Mère, QC

Infrastructure Civil - Energy
Sartigan Dam, Saint-Georges, QC

Will we be needing this firm for the Lower Churchill Project? Now that's serious money - and a significant olive branch to Quebec. I guess we might be seeing more - not less - of these guys.

it's not an olive branch. It's part of the plan.

Thanks for exposing the conspiracy to sell us out yet again.
