Last week Brian Tobin continued with his service to Newfoundland and Labrador by announcing that Consolidated Thompson was walking away from Labrador and instead investing across the border (or at least what we think the border is) where Quebec will benefit more from the investment.
As the consummate spin doctor he is - our Brian would like to point out there is still good news for Labrador.
I'm just wondering Brian - would you mind explaining what the problems were in Labrador? Any chance you and Deano might hook back up again in your traditional kilts and figure a way to fuel that industry with Lower Churchill power?
What ever way people would like to look at it - Brian continues to have the same success in looking after our interests as when the little turbot lost its way and found itself thrust into the media spotlight.
He's another fellow who suffered tremendously from the sacrifice of serving the people. I think Brian got it all wrong - he thought public service meant the people of the province served him...I guess he was right.
I again challenge our Premier to say one negative thing about this past Premier. You will note Danny restricts his condemnations to Roger Grimes - when clearly Roger could not have been responsible for 14 years of Liberal rule. What's wrong Premier take a smack at Tobin - or perhaps you can tell us what the current relationship between you and Captain Canada.
