INCO was recently taken over by CVRD - the largest iron-ore company in the world.
The Mining Journal has now reported that CVRD has signed a 7 billion dollar deal to supply iron ore pellets to a German steelmaker.
Premier Williams are you pursuing the opportunities naturally present with CVRD - the hydropower in Labrador - the skilled labour force in Labrador and the natural resource.

How can Bell Island compete with cheaper, better ore from Labrador, Brazil, etc.?

Iron ore prices are very good now - there are opportunities providing it is economically beneficial to mine it.
