It's time for the Premier to go back to the drawing board. Danny the Province is not a business and it does require social policy and slashing back the workforce does not work - if you are trying to build an economy.
We pay the taxes - our money - and we want proper investment. This is not a cable company or golf course - you can't lay people off when you want in improve the bottom line. And if you have not noticed - while you are government there is no competition. It's like having to wait four years to switch to satellite when you don't want cable anymore or you cannot play at another golf course because they only take new members every so many years.
If you really were in Iceland - Quebec - and Norway - you must have been on the pip - because you did not learn the lessons being taught - renewable hydro energy that a country - state - or province controls - is used for economic development.
The editorials and columns are starting to paint a different picture - one where the lights go out and stay out - and another where the cut-throat business acumen is coming through. The only problem is that you are not stopping the outmigration - you are not attracting industry - despite having every tool they need - and frankly you are acting like a brat that wants everything his own way - including 48 seats in the legislature.

PRESENCE OF MUSICIANS AT THE MONTREAL CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL
Today's concert follows yesterday's visit by some OSM musicians to the
rooms of young patients at the Montreal Children's Hospital.
The strengthening of the connections between the OSM and the community,
education, and the awakening of young audiences to the universe of music
continue to be areas of development that matter very much to the Orchestra.
The Orchestre symphonique de Montréal is presented by Hydro-Québec.
The Montréal Science Centre opened on May 1, 2000, and is now one of
Canada's major cultural institutions. As part of the Quebec Tourism Awards,
the Centre earned the Best Tourist Attraction award in 2001 for its innovative
features and the quality of its infrastructures. In 2005 and 2006, the Centre
also won the Award of Excellence, given by the Société des musées québécois
(Quebec Museum Society), for its Autopsy of a Murder and X-treme Rotation
exhibitions. Since the Centre first opened, over 2 million visitors have
enjoyed its activities and high-quality educational programming, designed to
interest young people in science and technology careers.
The Montréal Science Centre wishes to thank Pfizer and Hydro-Québec, its
key sponsors.
Recipients
The new books collected will be distributed to children in early May 2007
through hundreds of organizations targeted by the Foundation. Schools,
childcare centres, Famille grassroots and other organizations will take
advantage of this time to celebrate the joy of reading by organizing numerous
activities. Note that each book collected in a given region is distributed to
a child in that region.
Thank you to our 37 partners: Hydro-Québec, Quebec Ministry of Education,
Recreation and Sport, Salon du livre de Montréal...
And on it goes - are we ready yet?
