When listening to the radio, watching television or reading the newspapers about events in this province, there seems to be a missing link. One that bridges all that information together and provides a way for people to contribute, express or lobby their concerns in their own time. After-all, this is our home and everyone cannot fit in Lukie's boat and paddle their way to Upper Canada, nor should we!
Anybody know where the DFO website has gone? The way of the Atlantic Cod? It's been out all day - the other department sites are functioning. Are they tryng to get rid of the tobacco contract heading? What's happening with NAFO?
I can't complain as such about regular blogging. It's generally a good thing. I myself was a daily blogger for most of my time at it and still am at times. . .
But Sweet Merciful Dancin' J@#$ Sue, judging by the NL blogroll, you update so fast and keep adding more and more so that even regular readers either find their machines almost crashing trying to load it all in or finding articles and threads they likes pushed down to the bottom or off the page. . .
Blogging at this speed has the same advantages as talking at the speed of the guy from the micromachines commercial. . . by the time somebody processes something and might decide to respond or discuss, it's too late you're off to something else.
It's too bad. A lot of it is good stuff. It's just impossible to find a lot of it or keep trak of what's on this blog unless one was to quit their job and dedicate their life to keeping up with the hours and hours worth and reams and reams worth of material on here each day.
