Report from the House of Commons #1

Loyola fails again and continues to lie about his promises!
What a joke today during Question Period in the House of Commons. Hard to know which was worse - the fact that a Conservative MP asked Loyola Hearn a question on the NAFO meetings - or why not one of our Liberal MP's did not hold Loyola to his promise.
Loyola said today that he lived up to his promise to beef up NAFO and give it some teeth.
You see the man is simply a liar.
Loyola Hearn promised to take custodial management of the nose and tail of the Grand Banks and Flemmish Cap. As long as I am able that truth will never go away.
Board of Trade Questions and Answers

In either case the pathetic question from his own Conservative colleague and the lack of question from the Liberals demonstrates there is no urgency felt in Ottawa about the mess of the industry and the damage it is doing to rural areas.

The only question Loyola got about fisheries from an opposition MP came from the Bloq and Loyola assured him that all regions of Canada were treated the same and there was no preferential treatment for Newfoundland and Labrador on quotas.

Norm Doyle rose today in the House to applaud Super Minister Chuck Strahl who told the farmers they could not come through with the 1/2 billion dollars they promised - instead they came up with 1 and 1/2 billion. On that exchange Loyola remained seated.
