Loyola's commitment dragging....

The test is coming closer and soon Newfoundland and Labrador's Minister in the federal Cabinet will have to take a stand. While the story seems to get better play in Nova Scotia - more is at stake for this province.
Draggers on the high seas - raking the bottom of everything in their path - are about to become another test for Loyola's dragging commitments.
Countries supporting a moratorium on the draggers are:
Uganda; Belgium; France; Germany; Hungary; Netherlands; Sweden; United Kingdom; Brazil; Tunisia; Chile; South Africa; Costal Rica; Nigeria; Cambodia; Thailand; Kenya; Bahamas; Federated State of Micronesia; Palau; Tuvalu.
We will be watching Loyola, to see if theDepartment of Foreign Affairs has more clout!

I just don't get it. Hearn knows the damage being done on the NT&FC 40% of our continental shelf.

Even John Crosbie is calling for a ban and his company is the one who originally started the practice. According to his book.

Why Why Why isn't he following through with his and Harpers original commitment to bring in Custodial management in this term?

Just another preference same as the removal of Non-Renewable resource revenues from the Equalization formula claw back.

Why don't they claw back Ontario's Tax points? When you consider their tax poiints are in the hundreds of millions above and beyond the 5 province standard let along the Territory of NL.

I say territory because that is what we are, we are so spread out over such a large area with such limited transportation infrastructure in alot of ways we are worse of than the territories and they get special attention while we are compared to PEI with 200,000 which is the size of the avalon.
Christ PEI could have one centralized service centre and they would still be better of than we are.
