Sorry for the interuption to the "Robbing Newfoundland and Labrador 101" posts but.....
Hearn is a Complete Traitor
Myth #4: Canada has repeatedly given foreign fishing nations allocations of Canadian fish quotas in return for trade deals for other Canadian industries.
I wonder if anything really can be done when one is a traitor to people one represents? That little punch in the guts to Newfoundland and Labrador can be found on the DFO website. The section of info supplied is titled "Overfishing Myths and Realities".
You should read some of the doozies found there. Listen boys there is nothing wrong, everything is fine. Loyola you are selling your culture for a Ministerial portfolio, the same the conservatives accused Efford of.
Now what proof does Hearn offer the people for the #4 myth?
The site offers this explantion:
Reality: This is false; no such deals were ever considered, let alone concluded. The Advisory Panel on the Sustainable Management of Straddling Fish Stocks in the Northwest Atlantic recently studied this issue and reached the same conclusions.
Let's look at this so-called reality found on the DFO site. It says an advisory panel studied this and reached the same conclusions. Same conclusions as who? What did they study? Who did they interview? What did they read? What does the MInister mean "repeatedly"? How does Loyola or anybody know what was considered? It was never considered - what since 1954 and by every federal official both elected and unelected?
Oh Loyola, you thought that somebody wrote contracts about such deals - you don't know about the little wink or handshake sort of deals do you?

You will see the usual list of News Releases where the Department has nailed another Newfoundlander and Labradorian and then visit the Myths and Realities site here
What a tremendous day for Newfoundland and Labrador - sold out again. Hey Dan you got anything to say about this?
As long as the feds are not liable right guys.
Hurry up and call an election.
Part 3 of the Robbing Newfoundland and Labrador will follow shortly.
