When listening to the radio, watching television or reading the newspapers about events in this province, there seems to be a missing link. One that bridges all that information together and provides a way for people to contribute, express or lobby their concerns in their own time. After-all, this is our home and everyone cannot fit in Lukie's boat and paddle their way to Upper Canada, nor should we!
So now that the U.S. has caught on wonder how the shortages are going to increase in Ontario. Give the article a read and give it some thought. Our hydro value is gone up again.
How many hydro-electric and other electricity generating projects are being proposed at the moment or are under consideration?
How many are proposed by corporations or organizations with considerable experience in managing and successfully completing multi-billion dollar projects?
Does Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro have the fiscal and other capacity to develop the Lower Churchill on its own with a first-power date around 2011?
And incidentally, when you say "energy" is the new master of society, not oil, surely you appreciate that oil and electricity are forms of energy.
