When listening to the radio, watching television or reading the newspapers about events in this province, there seems to be a missing link. One that bridges all that information together and provides a way for people to contribute, express or lobby their concerns in their own time. After-all, this is our home and everyone cannot fit in Lukie's boat and paddle their way to Upper Canada, nor should we!
political posturing aside, i find it immeasurably hard to believe that VOCM could possibly afford to hire one of top 50 lobbyists in Canada as a host? like to know more info about this post....
I bet you that this Politial Appointment will be another voice for the Conservative Government in Ottawa against the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. It is shocking the system of Government that we here in NL have had to put up with over the past 62 years. These Federal appointees all become voices for the Ottawa Government and themselves. Let us watch carefully what this Appointee does very closely, if he goes against our wishes, we need to do something about having NEWFOUNDLANDERS AND LABRADORIANS appointed by Ottawa to Shaft Us. Political Patronage must be wiped off the slate, Taxpayers should not have to pay for Ottawa to appoint somebody to work against their best interests.
