Below is a tweet from Mr. McLeod - a reporter with the Telegram.
This is offensive, intrusive, and unnecessary. James the two MHA's were sworn in.
I will repeat that journalists in this province are going to have to buck up. There are many things I want to know about both MHA's but they are relative to the job they will be doing for us the people.
As you read the tweet - just think of other things that could have been inserted.

Sue,I am beginning to think these reporters don't have a clue or they are constrained from saying anything that may negatively impact on their paper's financial bottom line.
Cyril, it is not that the reporters don't have a clue, it is that they have to follow a code of silence on talking about how Newfoundland and Labrador's natural resources were developed and for whom.
The Local Media, television, print and radio, are businesses just like any other business and they are not going to print anything critical about the wrongs governments are perpetrating on their people, for instance like asking simple questions that have been begging to be asked for 62 years, those being why are Newfoundland and Labradors' natural resources always developed to bring great economies to other areas of the Canadian country, while we have languished here in Newfoundland and Labrador without any appreciable economy and no jobs created. And they dare not ask a question on why the Federal Government has placed very few Federal jobs in NL, and why the very few it has here are predated on to to be placed in NOVA SCOTIA, like for instance the Marine Sub Rescue Center.
According to one Fisheries Scientist who spoke up against the move, he said the whole center which is centered in Halifax, N.S should be placed in NL because our province has the jurisdictio over most of the waters and the fish resource that the Marine Rescue Center services in Atlantic Canada. Why was it placed in NOVA SCOTIA in the first place, when most of the fish and the waters serviced by the Marine Rescue Center are under NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR'S jurisdiction?
We have to make our Politicians and our Local Media more accountable to us.
We, the electorate, should not solely have to be the voice of opposition to what is going on
that has kept us poor and failing to thrive in this province, it should be the job of our politicians and our Media.
