Dunderdale essentially tells Canada - Take our final Best Renewable - it's all Yours!

Just sit back and think about this for a minute. All of a sudden the Lower Churchill is Canada's energy - a Maritime resource - an Emera project. All hands into it - all Premier's from the region taking a crack at it. All owning another of Newfoundland and Labrador's finest resources.

Answer this - what resources in any other province of Canada do we have our fingers into? Answer this - what resource project in any other province in Canada - are we in the middle of negotiations for?

This is - without a question - another instance where NL raw resources are being shipped out to and controlled by other provinces.

Answer this: if so many other jurisdictions are in such a need for this power - why is it we cannot attract industry to Labrador? Why can't we use our resources to attract industry looking for reliable, cost-effective, and renewable power - away from New England and the Maritimes. Why must we always - always give it away?

There are millionaires being made here - but it has nothing to do with the advancement of our people. This is a massive giveaway - worse than the Upper Churchill - and we are sitting by and letting it happen. Dunderdale and company are perpetrating the worse sell-off of natural resources in our history. Remember also - this is Danny's baby project and Kathy is the surrogate to give birth to it.

Where is "Liberal" Dean MacDonald? What's his take on this deal? He certainly had no problem condemning the Liberal government of Roger Grimes - where Yvonne Jones was a Minister - where is he now?

Below please find a couple of more comments on our resource:

If the only reason is to snub Quebec, and find an alternative way for a privately owned corporation Emera to sell electricity to the US, then I say hand off the public cookie jar and raise you own capital for the project, and Canadians have first choice on the natural resources.

Yur xenophobia's showing! NL's in Canada &Labrador hydro's important part of Cda's energy inventory That's why Feds must back it.

Now ask yourself again - what resource in any other province - do we have our fingers in or some control of?

They got the minerals, forest, fish, and the Upper Churchill - NOW - Dunderdale is going to turn over the Lower Churchill.

Stop this project - or we will have lost our future.
