SCHOOL'S OUT day 4

Denise Pike Liberal candidate Bellevue

Bill Rowe said it right she's acting like an MHA now.

I see - where's Percy?

Denise if you were not looking for a vote - what would you be doing now?

and where's Percy?

Has Denise Pike taken over the duties of Percy? I did not hear Percy on.

Denise is on full MHA emergency alert - where's Percy?

Bizarre

Juan O'Quinn PC Candidate Lewisporte - heard him on the air the other day - and best I can tell he wants to be paid for being passionate about Newfoundland and Labrador - and the fact he has put himself into the draft for Danny's team.

Funny Juan - there are usually three open-line programs on VOCM a day - and plenty of very significant issues - not the least of which are - outmigration - fishery - the Lewisporte ferry services - the loss of a goods distributing company - yet I don't remember you calling to voice your deep concerns and passion about them.

The picture kind of says it all for the Tory candidates - The leader clung to a tree with the rest dragging on his coat-tails.

Ray Hunter, MHA Windsor/Springdale, was on openline with Randy July 27th. He was commenting on the 'Navel Lint Picking Festival' or the 'Belly Button Gazing Festival'...I can't remember which one it was. He was pleading with the listeners to "promote the good things". He told Randy "you hear so much negative". His reason for calling was to congratulate the volunteers. He said, "they were going around so busy!" Have another hotdog Ray!

The Lewisporte ferry service?

Isn't it the Labrador service?

It was and it should be ... but where was the fight? Part of Labrador wanted it out of Lewisporte and the route changed while the coast wanted it the other way. Wally and Yvonne disagreed on that one - remember?
Besides Todd should have stopped that.

What does the North Coast have to do with the Lewisporte ferry service? The Bond doesn't go to any port in Northern Labrador.

You are confusing the ferry service and the freight service.

Ask Yvonne and Wally

and they will tell you - I guess

and I am not confusing anything.

Ferry service? Oh yeah, that's the one that runs parallel with an existing 'highway'. And that's the one that enable the Williams/Rideout team to show us all what they were really made of.
You know, the solemn promise to abide by the recommendations of the MUN study. That ferry?
Yes, I remember, Yvonne, O'Brien and a few other representatives were on the dock in Cartwright as they held the ferry there waiting for a government commitment. When they got the solemn promise they released it and they went on home.
The number one recommendation of the Public Policy group? Oh, nothing, just to keep the ferry running between Goose Bay and Cartwright.

Yep that's the one - and do you remember Wally's point?
