So the Board of Trade is content to see the government fund competition in the private sector. Of course they are not - that is totally contrary to anything they have articulated in the past. So why is the St. John's Board of Trade supporting the Premier in his choice to commit 15 million dollars in government funds to a private consortium (Rogers, Persona, and Allstream) to compete with Aliant?
Let's see: Ray Dillon is the President of the Board and DISTRICT MANAGER OF "ROGERS" BUSINESS SOLUTIONS.
Oh my oh my - and then Andy Wells steps to the plate - now I can't see why he would support Danny - Danny just spent a tonne of government (our) cash to take a case through the court - despite it being contrary to legislation - in an attempt to force Andy into a chosen position at the CNLOPB.
Is there any part of this fiasco which does not appear to be in conflict?
Solid Gold performance by all.
