Is this right?
What do the people of Stephenville and Pasadena think?
I was going through the political contributions - available through the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer - made to the PC's NDP and Liberals in the year 2004.
Sue's Blog will roll out a series of these over the next few days - but this morning Sue's Blog would like to draw your attention to the following:Town of Pasadena PC Party $150
Town of Stephenville PC Party $750
What are municipalities doing contributing to Provincial Political Parties - and who is making the decision?
Was there a referendum to the people of the municipality?
Does it cause the impartiality of the Council to be questioned?
Does this mean the communities of Pasadena and Stephenville are PC's?
Another troubling contribution:
RNC Association PC Party $2000
RNC Association PC Party $1000
It is understood that this Association represents a group of people similar to a Union - however they are the Police - and must at all times appear to be and in fact be impartial. They work for the Crown!
Deer Lake Regional Airport Authority PC Party $150
Port Harmon Authority Ltd. PC Party $900
Port Harmon Authority Ltd. PC Party $750
Is this appropriate for a regional authority?
Are you getting your money's worth?
Western Health Care Corp PC Party $150
Since when does any health care depend on political patronage?
Up next - some very interesting private corporate cash - and what it may mean to us.

Did these same organizations give to the Liberals or NDP? If so - how much? Right now it looks as if they just gave to the PCs. Just want to base an opinion on the total picture.
Thanks
Only to the PC's.
Sue
