A Message for Joan Burke

Name withheld by Request

Re: Closure of 12 Status of Women Offices

Did I miss something or has Joan Burke been grossly silent on this whole
matter? I know she was in Placentia today for the 'big announcement' but
she does have another very important portfolio - responsibility for the
Status of Women.

Where is she?

I'd like it if you would comment on her not so golden silence.

I can't wait for the next federal election. The sooner the better.

Thanks for your time.

Let's put the NDP in power and wipe out all the snotty nose little shisters.

Why is this provincial PC Government and our Federal PC counterparts allowing all of the Federal jobs to migrate out of this province?

We didn't have many of the lucrative Federal jobs here in the first place, and, matter of fact, we do not have one Federal Regional Office here, but once upon a time we did have a few scraggly Federal jobs. Now there are hardly any? Why is the PC Government under Premier Williams allowing it to happen, and in the meantime, being so silent on the matter. The silence on the lack of Federal jobs and the silence on the Fishing industry have me completely baffled. I don't suppose both of these got tied up as a trade off in that $2 billion Atlantic Accord deal in any way shape or form. I certainly hope not.
