Hydro Quebec 101 - Release the Energy Plan

Sue's Blog had to break from the fibre optical illusion to bring you the latest from Hydro Quebec and Ontario energy plans.

First - Hydro Quebec's profit from the first nine months of this year surged to $2.97 billion - up by $1.12 billion from a year earlier.

Second - Ontario and Quebec planning big power transmission line.
This quote from a Reuters Story "In addition to this project, Ontario is considering several major long-term electricity projects, including possible transmission links with Manitoba and Labrador, new nuclear power reactors, natural gas fired generators and hydropower stations, the timetable for the elimination of the province's coal plants and various wind, solar and conservation projects."

Newfoundland and Labrador's slogan should be - we are pleased to be of service - as province after province benefit from our human and natural resources.
