Hey Danny Siberia can do it! Hey Labrador where is your VOICE?

ATTENTION LABRADOR

Maybe the Premier should visit Siberia and see what they are doing right there.

"The first is strategic and geopolitical. The largest cost element (at 30 per cent) in aluminium production is energy - which is why, as competition for energy sources hots up, the industry's centre of gravity is shifting to the Middle East, Iceland and Siberia, which is blessed with clean and renewable hydropower. Energy will account for a third of UCR's investment spend. Also vital is a secure supply of raw materials - alumina for smelting and the bauxite from which that alumina is refined."

This quote taken from a story The Guardian out of the UK. The above deals with the world's most modern aluminum smelter in Siberia. Read the complete story and give me one reason that our Premier is not looking for the same deals for Labrador. This is a wake-up call for Labrador, its politicians, and community leaders. There is no way that Labrador should not be at the top of the list for heavy industry - the only reason it is not is because our Premier has made it perfectly clear that our cheap reliable hydro is going to be exported. All industry has to do is sit back and wait for the deal and then go to the Government of Ontario and set up shop in that province - using Labrador power.
