It is obvious that Danny is so desperate to be seen as doing something for rural Newfoundland and Labrador - he is giving away the wind.
Okay - I believe St Lawrence as with many other rural areas should have wind development - however not at the cost of delivering profits to the Italian government.
If we as taxpayers and owners of the wind resource have to purchase the energy output - why wouldn't we own it when we are paying for it anyway?
Remember now when the Labrador Metis wanted to move forward with a wind project - Danny said we will have to wait for the energy plan. Now all that's forgotten!
What a desperate state of affairs - which I hope will not occur again. Do the right thing Danny - buyout the ownership now that hydro (us) have committed to buy the energy.
