American Flea Market - Opportunity for Replacement Vessels

The American Government is having a flea market and apparently Canada has already picked up some free or really cheap items.
This is not your standard sale - it is by invitation only - to allies of the United States. Further the items being given away or sold for pennies on the dollar include ocean going vessels - rescue craft - fighter jet etc.
Now's the time for our Premier to take advantage and buy some equipment for our coastal communities - Stephenville - Happy Valley Goose Bay - and Gander.
Ferry replacements possible and - refurbishment could be done at Marystown or Bull Arm. Perhaps some great oportunities for our fishery sector - with plenty of smaller vessels - mining opportunites with barges.
We can also pick up some equipment for training at our colleges or maybe something of value for the Stephenville Mill.
In some cases the state of the art equipment is being given away as "samples".
Has the Premier checked in - apparently Canada has already picked up some of the goodies - I wonder what we got?
Time for big-time trick or treating south of the border.

I am not kidding - read the Story in the New York Times!
