Under Article 1 of the Voisey's Bay Development Agreement (Definitions and Interpretation)
Section 1.9 reads
Governing Law and Choice of Forum. This Agreement shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws in force in the Province, subject to any applicable federal laws and for all purposes this Agreement shall be treated as a Newfoundland and Labrador contract. The Proponent irrevocably submits and attorns to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province.

From this we can establish that this Agreement is first subject to the laws of the Province. This is important - as we move forward and examine the legislation respecting what the Provincial Government can do as it relates to this project. Please confirm this clause yourself so we may move forward together.
