Well done Stephen! Now let's here PM asserts sovereignty over the Grand Banks and the ocean being plundered and polluted everyday off the coast of Newfoundland and Labrador.
He's congratulating the Canadian Forces for their efforts in the Arctic - hey Loyola any chance we can get a ship or two based in St. John's?

Why St. John's? Is St. John's the only harbour town in the province or wha?
good point
put the ships in all areas of Newfoundland and Labrador!it's what you hit first coming across the sea, not nova scotia
Dispicable is what it is.
I keep playing over and over in my head Stephen Harpocrites speech he made in BC to the effect that BC doesn't have a regular army presence and he was going to rectify that.
News flash NL doesn't have a regular Army, Navy, or Air force presence let alone Army. And no a base by name with no man power doesn't constitute a regular presence neither does cadets, Northern Rangers and militia like the spin I've been hearing as of late. Militia are part time warriors who show up wednesday nights to exchange kit and do dry training. They don't pay into a pension plan or any of the other benefits so it may seem like they make pretty good money for their 2-3 hours a week but it isn't.

Why is it the coastal surveilance squadron is based out of Greenwood when the majority of the coast is adjacent to NL?
I guess the golf course's aren't nice enough in Gander, or Stephenville.
