Federal Gas Tax Sharing announcement tomorrow

Loyola H and Jack B and Wayne Ruth (Federation of Municipalties Pres.) will be holding a news conf. tomorrow to announce the Federal Gas Tax Sharing program. This is where towns and cities get their piece of gas tax for municipal projects and services. While the Minister of Fisheries and Broken Promises announces the cash I am going to post budget links to show you how they are taking it back.
Can't wait for the News Conference.
And by the way is Loyola bringing the retirement packages?

I guess Dalton Mc Gimme got his way.

Federal funding by population.

Why is the federal government meddling in Provincial affairs by doling out tax payers money directly to the municipalities?

Shouldn't monies be given to the provincial govts and they can divy it up amongst the municipalities?

The west would never be what it is today if monies were divied up by population. The East built Canada and were implicit in their own demise by paying for the Saint Lawrence sea Way, and Rail Way. Thus allowing all foreign trade from the East to bypass Atlantic Canada, and go directly to Central canada in line with Canada's centrist policy and political power.
