He wants me to leave!

Below is an email posted on Bill Rowe's Rant site.

Need I say more about why we are failing as a population and a province?

For the author, Greg, the threats expressed in the correspondence are not likely to be shared by those truly brave individuals in our military. What's your last name Greg? Who do you work for? Why do you feel threatened by my questions and research? If Bill would not ask people for their opinions on separation you would not be subject to the answer.

It is likely the people who gave their lives did so for our right to free speech. Greg, are you forgetting the Newfoundland Regiment? Understand your history before you become an expert on who should live in our province and who should go away.

Based on your comments you also need to do some research on the EI program.

"Know it all Sue" and the like.

Hi Bill,

Love your show, listen to you all the time at work.

I guess my beef is with Sue( her last name eludes me right now), I hear her on all the talk shows, on various topics, but the one that makes my blood boil, is her idea(and others) that Newfoundland should pull out of Canada.

I have a Son in the Armed Forces, he's decided to put his life on the line for his Country, and the notion that we should leave because something is not going a persons way is totally ridiculous.

We are becoming a province of whiners, if people like Sue don't like it here, I suggest they get aboard the ferry in Port aux Basques, and don't look back.

We won't miss them.

I bet the parents who've lost their children in the Forces, who have given their lives for their country, whould like to kick her a**.

Not to mention who would pay for Medi-Care, Ei, Canada Pention and all the other Federal programs we now receive.

Come on people, get real, get a life, if half the people who called in to the radio talk shows had something good to say about life in NL, instead of doom and gloom, than maybe it would be a better place to live.

By the way Sue, My rose colored glasses are in their case, not on my eyes.
