Please read the statement below and give me your opinion on the state of affairs in Newfoundland and Labrador. Talk about being seen as neutered - guess the Public Utilities Board has become a simple waste of money.
Investment thesis: "We view Emera's largely visible capital plan
positively in the current interest rate environment allowing for a
stock re-rating. Electricity transmission focused endeavours, in
particular related to the Nalcor projects, in our view, are the key
drivers for the stock in the future. Finally, we expect a minor
(yet manageable) amount of regulatory noise mainly in Nova
Scotia."

Sue to save my sanity I would probably have to stop reading your blog and all other articles referring to the corruption in this country but I am not going to do that.
It makes me sick to think of the corruption the politicians we elect will inflict upon their electorate to enrich themselves and those who have the influence of their ears for having contributed a few dollars or helped out in some other way to having them elected.
What is the recourse in this corrupt World to have those responsible brought before the courts. It appears to me that every angle is covered so those kleptomaniacs don't face the courts. Nobody seems to pay for the corruption that they are responsible for.
I wonder would a certain "class action" lawyer from this province take on a case of corruption against our politicians on behalf of the electorate of Newfoundland and Labrador?
